Sight fishing drag pulling fish was on the agenda today! We lauched at 7AM in heavy fog and decided to stay close to the marina until the fog cleared. We started out poling in a nearby high vegitation pond playing with slots until the fog lifted. Visibility was tough this morning but we managed to pick up 7 slots ranging 22-17" casting to tailing fish and wakes.
The fog cleared around 10AM so we made the long run in search for the big uglies. We jumped up on the pole and worked oyster flats with sucess. We were able to sight cast until wrist gave out. Managed to sight and fight 9 of these big bull drum ranging in the 30-40 plus pound range and left them feeding. All fish were CPR and caught on SHU-SHU shad. Get on the action! Book your trip!
