Made a call Monday to the posse about pending good wind forecast for Wednesday. Got commitments from Capt. Scott Magidson (American Airlines) Catfish Jim and plain ole Donny. Headed south Tuesday evening and got the Epic sled ready for the morning. Feasted on crawfish stew and smoked tuna dip. Let me tell ya finished that off with cheesecake. Anyway woke up to a pleasant breeze not calm winds as forecasted. Headed to the fishing grounds with a light but bearable chop. Hit the first stop and it was fish on. By the time the bite stopped the clicker was at 45. Made a few moves to try a new spot and not a bite. Deleted that waypoint out of the system. Made
a couple more moves and picked up two or three here and there. Headed back in and made another stop and it was hammer time again. Clicker registered 87. Started to get warm by that time so Donny made it a priority to stay hydrated. Made one more stop and picked up three and then headed in. Great day to be on the water and not at work. Had a blast with the guys and the bonus was the fish. Thanks for the trip guys.
